The other day I was at lunch with one of my friends, talking about boys as usual when she stopped and looked down at my half finished plate of food.
“Are you full?” She asked, “You hardly ate anything”
“Nope, just got bored”
Her eyebrows knitted together in confusion, “What do you mean you got bored?”
“I just lost interest. The flavors fall flat to me after while and I want something new to excite my palate”
“So do you want to order dessert, is that what your saying?”
I laughed, “Yes that’s exactly what I am saying”
A wedge of chocolate cake later, the topic of my weird food habits where dropped. Although, dessert is mandatory in life, it’s not the reason behind why I don’t finish my meals. Like I said earlier, it’s because I get bored. Eating a bite after bite of the same thing makes my ADD weep.
But that is where Seattle Restaurant Week comes in to save the day. Twice a year over a hundred and sixty restaurants around Seattle offer a 3-course menu for only $28 smackaroos. Restaurants that I would normally would only be able to afford the bread in. Even better, some offer a 3-course lunch menu for $15! Now if that doesn’t entice you, I don’t know what will. This special offer is running in two intervals for the month of April, the 7th-11th and 14th-18th 2013. Have fun!
